Evander | Buffalo Newborn Photographer

Baby Evander came to my studio when he was almost 3 weeks old. Lexy, EJ’s mom (Evander Joseph), actually went into labor the day she contacted me about being a maternity model! Meghan, another client of mine, told some of her girlfriends that I was on the hunt looking for maternity models. Lexy contacted me the very next day and told me she would be more than happy to be a model.  So needless to say I was more than thrilled to have a new model to work with.  I told her we should meet up the following week for a shoot. Long story short, we never did that maternity session done. Lexy actually wet into labor the night she contacted me! BOOM! Like that, she went from being a maternity client to a newborn client! I am so glad she contacted me again and explained how she unexpectedly went into labor and soon after got to meet her son. EJ was a ROCKSTAR!!! He slept almost the entire time and only woke up to feed a couple of times, after that he got milk drunk and fell right back asleep. Welcome to the world Evander Joseph!!!!

Hanging With Mr. Cooper | Buffalo Newborn Photographer

Baby Cooper is the beautiful new addition to proud parents, Alana and Bob. I first met Baby Cooper at the hospital when he was just 2 days old! He was the tiniest, cutest little guy! I couldn’t wait till Alan was able o bring him to the studio so we could capture this very special moment in her and Bob’s lives. Cooper was so alert and awake when he first got to the studio, i just couldn’t believe it.  He stayed wide awake for most of the session and made me definitely work for every picture 🙂 But I didn’t mind one bit.  I told mom and dad to just relax, take a break, and grab some rest on the couch; while me and Cooper hung out.  I haven’t had to use my glider for rocking purposes, but Cooper and I gave it a shot.  After awhile he settled down and slowly drifted off to sleep. It felt so awesome to be rocking and trying to put a baby back to sleep, made me almost miss those 2 am wake up calls. Almost. Haha.
This little guy was so cuddly and sweet, I was so sad to see our session end! He is so handsome and so LOVED!!! It melts my heart whenever I see how in love people are with their little ones. Congratulations again Alana and Bob. I cannot wait to see Cooper grow up to be an awesome little dude!

Jade and Jon-A Vision of Love | Buffalo Maternity Photographer

I met this beautiful lady and her fiancé after another client, Meghan, told her that I was looking for maternity models. I was so happy that she contacted me and that we got together to make these amazing pictures. Also so happy because my tutu came in just in time for her shoot! So off I went with all my gowns in tow and my niece Summer, who was going to be my assistant for the shoot.  We head downtown to the Japanese Gardens, or at least what I thought was the Japanese Gardens…Needless to say I had to call Jade because I ended up driving to the Albright-Knox Art Museum, which was NOT the location I needed to be at. In my defense, The History Museum and the Art Museum look fairly similar (they really don’t) to a new Buffaloion such as myself.  Anywho we finally arrived at the Japanese Garden and met Jade and her fiancé Jon.

Have you ever met two people and could tell right away how much they truly love one another? Once I started shooting, I could tell the chemistry and love between them was so pure and sweet.  Jon was such a gentlemen and so helpful with not only his lovely bride to be but also asking me if he could carry my gear.  I told him that’s what I had Summer for, my “assistant”. We walked all around the lake and got some of the best lighting a girl can ask for. They held hands the entire time, unless I had to steal Jade away for her solo shots.  Every shot was just so beautiful and I was so thrilled overtime I looked on my screen. The scenery, the lighting, the models were simply breathtaking. Jade looked like a real life princess! Her beauty was just overflowing and their happiness was so contagious. Thank you again Jade for being such a wonderful model and for allowing me to capture this special moment in your lives! You two are really amazing beautiful people and I am so happy that I was able to do this with you.

Carmen-Maternity Love | Buffalo Maternity Photographer

Carmen is truly glowing! She is so gorgeous and amazing, words cannot describe the amazing time I had photographing her. She was flawless from start to finish. I was so happy that she stepped out of her comfort zone and really let me get creative with her shoot. It was a great time just hanging out, shooting and bonding over our LOVE of make-up, clothes and everything girly. I am so thankful that she and her husband will be around for the next 3 years! I cannot wait to see their new arrival and get to know them better. I hope these pictures do her beauty and grace justice, because that’s what she radiates. Thank you again Carmen for giving me the opportunity to showcase the true beauty that you are.

          Aria | Buffalo Newborn Photographer

          Baby Aria-53

Seriously how cute are these guys?!

Welcome to the world Aria! Singing diving into the world of maternity, newborn and family photography; I have a tendency to accost stop pregnant women everywhere I go. I become a real Chatty Cathy with random people who I would love to photograph, handing out business cards and then remembborer to actually say my name.   I was lucky enough to be at Target at the right time when I ran into her beautiful mother, Meghan, whom happened to be pregnant with her.  I told her I would love to photograph her baby once she arrived and I had to hear from her. I was so happy when she contacted me and told me that she was going to have the baby soon and would be interested in a session. I finally was able to meet Meghan again and of course with Rob (dad) and Baby Aria. This adorable angel was a true delight in the studio and this family was absolute amazing!!! They truly seemed like the perfect little family, so full of happiness and love. I am so happy that I can get to see this little peanut in a couple weeks when she turns 3 months old!
Baby Aria showing off some of my new props…and being flawless while doing it!
