Buffalo Newborn Photographer | Miss Lyla

Little Miss Lyla was as sweet as you can possibly imagine. Lyla wanted to meet her mom and dad a little bit sooner than expected, but who could blame her?! This adorable little one was absolutely a dream to work with. She slept almost the ENTIRE time! I could not help myself, I even snuck in a few extra cuddles 🙂

Since I have become a Buffalonian, I do have an obsession with hockey. So being a Buffalo Newborn photographer, we just HAD to incorporate hockey and this precious girl. She will be breaking hearts and maybe stopping pucks one day, like her dad. By the way, if you’re wondering what grown man hockey equipment, especially goalie pads, smell like…not great. 🙂 Lyla made a little accident on the pads, but dad said he has been unstoppable since then! Glad to hear that her little accident has actually become a lucky charm to dad.

What was the best way I could end 2015, photography-wise? By having these two precious babies come into the studio!!! My very first client, Val, told me of her friend that just had twins and if she could pass along my name to the mom. I told her of course (when really I was doing my happy dance, thank goodness I was on the phone)! These two came a little bit early and when they came to the studio, they didn’t even reach their due date yet! They slept so great and I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome of the shoot! Mom has 2 more children at home and I cannot wait to meet them and dad! Mom brought along his badge and hat and I loved incorporating it into the shoot. and is another everyday hero, a police officer who serves the community and his family.

On the morning that I was expecting Mj to arrive to the studio I saw a fire department SUV pull up, I was beyond confused and little scared because I didn’t recall calling the fire department. Moments later, Baby MJ and his family emerged and I was pleasantly surprised! Baby MJ came to the studio with his adorable sister, Mariah, and his amazing parents. I was so happy when Dad told me that he had his firefighter gear in the car and that they would love to incorporate it somehow into the shoot. I was more than thrilled to accommodate this request! I love being able to tie in items that my families bring that truly show what is important and meaningful to their family. I wanted to capture the beauty of what everyday heroes fight for.

Baby Fin | Buffalo Newborn Photographer

Baby Fin came early! This little guy wasn’t due for another couple of weeks but I guess he was just to excited to meet his mom and dad. This little man was a dream to work with and loved being swaddled. Mom had a couple different family mementos that he was photographed in, including his Tom Brady jersey for grandpa. Dad wasn’t to happy to have that around since he is a Denvers fan, but we all saw who came out on top for that game 🙂 But who doesn’t love a newborn in any jersey, even if it is a Tom Brady one 🙂
