I met this beautiful lady and her fiancé after another client, Meghan, told her that I was looking for maternity models. I was so happy that she contacted me and that we got together to make these amazing pictures. Also so happy because my tutu came in just in time for her shoot! So off I went with all my gowns in tow and my niece Summer, who was going to be my assistant for the shoot. We head downtown to the Japanese Gardens, or at least what I thought was the Japanese Gardens…Needless to say I had to call Jade because I ended up driving to the Albright-Knox Art Museum, which was NOT the location I needed to be at. In my defense, The History Museum and the Art Museum look fairly similar (they really don’t) to a new Buffaloion such as myself. Anywho we finally arrived at the Japanese Garden and met Jade and her fiancé Jon.
Have you ever met two people and could tell right away how much they truly love one another? Once I started shooting, I could tell the chemistry and love between them was so pure and sweet. Jon was such a gentlemen and so helpful with not only his lovely bride to be but also asking me if he could carry my gear. I told him that’s what I had Summer for, my “assistant”. We walked all around the lake and got some of the best lighting a girl can ask for. They held hands the entire time, unless I had to steal Jade away for her solo shots. Every shot was just so beautiful and I was so thrilled overtime I looked on my screen. The scenery, the lighting, the models were simply breathtaking. Jade looked like a real life princess! Her beauty was just overflowing and their happiness was so contagious. Thank you again Jade for being such a wonderful model and for allowing me to capture this special moment in your lives! You two are really amazing beautiful people and I am so happy that I was able to do this with you.
